Delete your dopa account

You can delete your dopa account and your data at any time, from the app or the website.

How to do it

1. Sign in to dopa (app or website).
2. Go to Profile › Your data.
3. Under “Delete my account”, read the explanation, then continue.
4. Confirm your identity (password, code or passkey).

A 7-day delay

Deletion happens automatically 7 days after your request. Until then, your account keeps working and you can cancel the request in the same place. An email tells you the scheduled date, then another confirms the deletion.

What is deleted

• Your profile, password, two-step verification, recovery codes, passkeys and recognised devices.
• Your gestures, the reactions you gave, your reports, your blocks and your challenge participation.
• Your notifications and open sessions.

What is kept

• A record of the request (dates and a fingerprint of your email, not linked to any account), as proof of deletion.
• The account’s security log (sign-ins, security changes), erased after 365 days.

Keep a copy

Before deleting your account, you can download your data as JSON in Profile › Your data.
